macona inlet...
Pursuit and Abandonment I search through days and nights unending My sense of place when enchantments cease, And time for kindred spirits mending; These yearnings of a velvet souled Lone wolfs desire, one day to hold Another in whose arms I find peace. My shadow and dust seem to remain All I have when my soujourns are done, That give me shelter from this cold rain; I wish a thousand stars to hear The lament of my age, this fear That I shall grow old and die alone. To all that I have ever dared love I make one promise I long to keep, While railing at gray skies above; 'Ere in silence I must depart When naught remains to stir my heart I shall surrender my love to sleep.
